We may be getting closer to the tail-end of summer but do you like the idea of having a body you can be proud of year-round? If so, you may be a great candidate for 360-degree liposuction, also known as circumferential liposuction.
360 lipo is a comprehensive liposculpting procedure that can help redefine the contours of the midsection. Depending on your needs, 360-degree liposuction may be right for you.
What Areas Does Lipo 360 Cover?
360 lipo addresses the entire abdomen and back as well as the waist and hips to help achieve the most comprehensive body-contouring results. 360-degree liposuction can be combined with other procedures such as a Brazilian butt lift, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, and is a popular addition to a mommy makeover.
How 360-Degree Lipo Works
The results are in the technique. Initially, Dr. Andan follows a similar procedure to traditional tumescent liposuction. He makes small, discreet incisions around the targeted treatment areas and injects a specialized solution of saline and anesthetic to help break up the targeted fat cells. Once this is completed, a thin tube called a cannula is inserted into the body to suction away the fat. For 360 lipo, Dr. Andan uses a liposculpting technique to carefully contour and shape the circumference of the midsection for a more shapely and defined figure.
360-Degree Lipo Downtime
The amount of downtime needed after 360-degree lipo can vary depending on your body’s ability to heal, the extent of your procedure and whether you combined additional procedures. The time you’ll need to recover before returning to work can take anywhere from a few days to a week after your procedure. Furthermore, more strenuous activities and exercise will be off-limits for several weeks. During your consultation, Dr. Andan will help you decide on the best treatment options to meet your goals and how much time you will need to recover.
Remember that although effective liposuction removes the targeted fat cells, you still require the self-discipline to maintain it.
